“A negotiation tool”

P7_Zero_to_One2.jpgSince its creation, Zero To One Technology has been helping sales professionals improve their negotiating skills. Comscope, the Caen-based company’s innovation, offers a genuine solution for businesses looking to enhance their sales force’s performance.

Comscope automatically measures techniques developed with a sales professional during a face to face encounter. “The tool, which is capable of operationally measuring a sales encounter is the first of its kind in the field,” ensure Jean-Paul Audrain, Eric Fourot and Philippe Hamel, its inventors.The system relies on internally developed algorithms applied to image and sound. Comscope was the subject of a European patent application in 2007 and an international patent application in 2008. The principal of this service, provided by Zero to One Technology, consists in filming a close up view of the faces of either party during a fictitious negotiation (one playing the role of the client, the other the sales professional), then each image (25 images recorded per second) is subjected to meticulous computer analysis.

“We study various verbal, non-verbal and organisational techniques used during the negotiation process.” These variables are then analysed by a Zero to One Technology consultant, in the company of the sales professional, according to a predefined sales model, in order to identify existing technical skills and potential improvements. For the best trained sales professional is also the most efficient.
