With over 3,000 businesses and around 15,000 jobs, Lower Normandy’s wood industry generates a turnover in excess of €2Bn and added value estimated at €630M (1).
Since September 2009, in association with Normandie Développement, TES Cluster members have travelled to Estonia, Norway, the United States and Canada to forge new links, explore new markets and to promote regional skills. The cluster is decidedly going international.
For them, understanding is what counts most. But why not also incite reflection? By launching the “Tête chercheuses” competition, the Fondation Musée Schlumberger and Relais d’Sciences are encouraging research laboratories to bring their popular science projects down from the shelf.
