On the 1st of October, Michel Houdebine, Chairman of the agrifood competitiveness cluster Valorial, entrusted the cluster’s management to Jean-Luc Perrot, assistant director for the past 3 years, following Michel Pinel’s retirement.
During the recent cluster Encounters organised to celebrate the TES (e-secure transactions) Competitiveness Cluster’s 5th anniversary on the 15th of October in Caen’s Town Hall, the cluster’s board announced the election of its new president.
With over 3,000 businesses and around 15,000 jobs, Lower Normandy’s wood industry generates a turnover in excess of €2Bn and added value estimated at €630M (1).
Since September 2009, in association with Normandie Développement, TES Cluster members have travelled to Estonia, Norway, the United States and Canada to forge new links, explore new markets and to promote regional skills. The cluster is decidedly going international.
