300 scientists from across the globe gathered in the Mémorial de Caen from the 26th to the 29th of January to present and discuss the latest news on the Spiral2 project.

Initiated and coordinated by the GANIL, the project aims at building a totally unique ion source for the study of exotic atomic nuclei, in Lower Normandy. And interest from the international scientific community is ever-increasing.
