A Regional Consultative Committee on Research and Innovation (CCRRT) for Lower Normandy was set up on the 15th of January within the premises of the Regional Council.

Chaired by Daniel Guerreau, General Manager of ENSICAEN, and comprising researchers, business leaders and skilled personalities, the committee’s mission will be to provide the Regional Council with guidance in its strategic choices, to conduct prospective studies and to put forward research proposals, to assess the framework of the region’s existing participative power, to propose new mechanisms based on changes in national or European contexts and to serve as scientific and technical experts when major strategic decisions are to be made.
