The aim of the project entitled CHAIN (Channel Innovation Network) is to create an operational network of enterprise zones, science parks and CEEIs (European Enterprise and Innovation Centres) throughout France and the United Kingdom, in an effort to develop improved knowledge on players, facilities and implemented action to support the creation and the coaching of young businesses.

The CHAIN 1 programme will offer the opportunity to exchange on territorial initiatives, to study funding schemes, to increase awareness on coaching opportunities for young businesses, to implement a mutual database for innovative technology businesses located within the Channel zone and looking to cooperate together and, in particular, to define the action plan for CHAIN 2, due to be launched in the autumn. To achieve this aim, Norman, Breton and British partners will be meeting in Caen on the 8th and 9th of July to present the programme to potential partners looking to join the project.
