The aeronautical group Safran, defence and security (54,500 employees), saw in Quertech Ingénierie, the young and innovative Caen-based company in the field of surface nanotechnologies, great potential in materials innovation likely to contribute towards maintaining the group’s technological lead.

The two companies have consequently signed a research and development partnership agreement.
